Hey all, it’s Craig here. CIC, the private equity group I work with, is graciously holding a blood/platelet drive on Monday, March 9th. I am including all details and contact info for anyone with questions. As you know, we’ve routinely mentioned there is an ongoing platelet shortage in Dallas. I have certainly used my fair share of both platelets and blood over the last 4 months. More specifically, I’ve had 118 platelet transfusions and 46 blood transfusions. I have had to maintain a higher threshold of platelets due to my subdural hematoma issues, and they have been life savers for me. Literally. I would appreciate if you’d consider showing up to donate. A lot of anonymous people have taken the time to donate for people they have never met. If you also did so, it would help to replenish some of the supply from which I’ve benefited.

My friend Toni Stout has organized this whole event. If you have any questions that aren’t answered with the information provided, please contact her @214-566-1120 or toni@cicpartners.com . Apparently they will also be serving Tiff’s Treats and Drake’s Pizza around 3:30/4pm. The drive will be in Parkland Hall at Old Parkland in Founder’s Court parking garage level P2

I’ll try to negotiate my way into attending, but doubtful I will succeed. Day passes are not readily handed out. Thanks for your continued support. It means so much to me.

Best,

Craig

Hi Craig, brings a smile to my face to hear directly from you. I think of you every day. If I was healthier and in Dallas I would be at the donation in a heartbeat. I just read your message out loud to my mom. Sending all our love, Heather & Iona
