Hi all. I meant to post something yesterday, but time got away from me. We wanted to thank Toni Stout šŸ˜‡ā¤ļø for reaching out a couple of months ago to get the ball rolling on this. She had already done all of her homework on the process and had put it in motion when we first spoke. šŸ‘ŠšŸ¼ She has been an amazing friend/support to both of us and we appreciate her so much! She did an awesome job organizing this whole event, and I know it meant so much to her to be able to help in this way. We are equally grateful that CIC was so gracious in hosting the event, was able to facilitate the use of the beautiful Founder’s building, and for their continued support during this trying time in our life. Huge acknowledgement to both of them for doing their part to help replenish our local supply of blood products, and do it in a way that demonstrated their fondness for Craig. Thank you.

And to everyone that came to donate - thank you! Many of you that couldn’t make it in person shared it on FB, or forwarded it to local friends, and your effort was noticed and appreciated. We had a great turnout!

For several of y’all that came and were disappointed to learn you were too iron deficient to donate, please make sure you’re eating iron rich food and get on that! Want to make sure y’all are healthy too! And for those that were turned away bc of your recent international adventures, thank you for trying, and stop being so fancy. 😜

I have some pictures from a few different people, but I was remiss in taking any myself. Wish

I would have thought to take some of every one of you. Y’all are the best! Those in person and in spirit!

And a total shoutout to Carter and DKMS. Two amazing organizations and their staff(s) couldn’t have been kinder. What a great way to represent. If you are able, please consider being a regular blood product donor, and please register to be a bone marrow match. šŸ™šŸ¼ Both of these organizations provide life saving resources to people like Craig, who desperately need them.

Filled with gratitude. ā¤ļø

Hope this finds you all well,

C & A
